my whole life, ive always had these immense emotions. like everything i ever felt was this giant wave that pummeled me into a bed of rocks. i hated being so sensitive. i just wanted to be numb. i started cutting mysef at age ten, tried a slew of different drugs and got lost for a while. but i made it out. i dont regret a moment, because now i have this knowledge. you dont have much say in whether or not bad things are going to happen, but you have all the say in how you move forward. i used to think of it as a curse to genuinely care so much, but now i see that empathy is a true gift. i do not believe that i can magically heal your pain. but, i can be here to listen. sometimes its nice to have an unbiased ear.. someone that doesnt have any previous ideas of you whos only goal is to be there for you. anyways. ill be here. ❤️
